Unique Technology Developed

Envirobatt Pty. Ltd. is a family owned company situated in the town of Esperance on the south-east coast of Western Australia. The company has succeeded in developing the unique technology to convert a combination of standard newsprint and common fibre into a commercially viable batt or blanket exhibiting excellent insulation and oil absorption properties.

The technology has an Australian patent, with further provisional patents pending.

	Building insulation, accoustic soundproofing and environmental cleanup are the major industries that would undoubtedly benefit from this unique innovation.
Our demonstration manufacturing plant is capable of producing batts and blankets in various thicknesses, from 20mm to 100mm, with varying densities. They have extremely good thermal and accoustic properties for use within the building industry, resulting in a more environmentally friendly product.

Builders love the fact that Tek Screws will simply not bind with the product as happens with alternative insulation such as poyester.

 

We were delighted to have our demonstration manufacturing plant short listed for the prestigious “State Government Inventor of the Year Award for 2007” and included in the special 60 minute television show "The Best of WA Inventions for the years 2006 – 2007".
